Dust Bunny Tales, Curious Claire, is a children’s book written by Jennifer Lutz and illustrated by Jenny Zandona. Written with curious children in mind and with a focus on exploration and learning, this engaging rhyming book is a fun addition to anyone’s personal library. Among the illustrations are clues that the story takes place in the beautiful Sonoran Desert and other elements designed to spark a child’s curiosity. Do you know a curious child that loves to explore and experience new things? So does Claire, the dust bunny! Claire has always wanted to go exploring outside of her family’s den, underneath a chair, but her parents say it is much too dangerous and so she must stay with them. In this first book of the series, Claire is unexpectedly forced outside the safety of her family’s den and gets a glimpse of what lies beyond their home. Young kids will love to follow along on her adventure!
The book is designed to spark questions and curiosity from children through different, interesting items within the illustrations. In addition, the ending naturally leads to questions about the many things Claire may have seen. It is written primarily for young children being read to as well as early readers (3-6 years old).

Jennifer Lutz has been a writer and creator for her entire life. She has always had a love of learning and reading, especially concerning the natural world. Winning a national essay contest at 14 years old instilled in her the knowledge that with perseverance and a little hard work just about anything is possible. She loves getting out in nature along with many other hobbies such as organic gardening and dance, but most of all she loves spending time with her young son and family.
